Men are important to God.
God has called men to lead. We believe in taking responsibility for ourselves, our marriages, and our children. We believe every man is a pastor or future pastor of his family first. He has a calling and a responsibility before God.
Unfortunately, men are usually the first ones to complain about church because it just doesn’t feel “manly”. We believe we find our perfect example of a husband, father, and man in Jesus–the real Jesus. We’re not talking about the ever-so-popular buddy Jesus, or the boyfriend Jesus, or the hippy Jesus with feathered hair. We want the hard-working, truth telling, call you on the carpet, blue collar, calloused hand carpenter, tattoed thigh, hanging with the fellas, king of kings and Lord of Lords Jesus.
At The Point Community Church, we believe men must take the lead. We will challenge you to step and and step out; to take responsibility for your family first and for your church.
